This is an estimate based on the figures you provide. Your actual bill may differ because of utility-specific charges, tiered rates, demand charges, taxes, credits, or other adjustments.

How to use the calculator

Choose whether to enter total electricity use in kWh or two meter readings. Enter your electricity rate and the billing-period charges shown on your utility bill. The estimate updates automatically as you change the inputs.

Assumptions and limitations

The calculator applies one electricity rate to all kWh used and adds the fixed charges and additional fees you enter. It does not automatically account for tiered pricing, time-of-use rates, meter rollover, utility-specific adjustments, or charges already included in your rate.
