- One roofing square equals 100 square feet, or approximately 9.29 square meters.
- The calculator assumes the roof area entered is already the total roof surface area. It does not measure roof dimensions or calculate slope.
- Waste allowance is an estimate. The appropriate percentage depends on roof shape, material, installation pattern, and cuts.
